Nina's teachings drift between Tantric Hatha (Pranakriya) and Kripalu Yoga Traditions.   Her classes are thought-provoking and explore conscious awareness while using the body & breath to tame the mind, tapping into transcendent states of experience.  Her teachings encourage students to practice the benefits of pranayama (yogic breathing), asana (physical postures) and meditation that she customizes for the modern western practitioner.

When Nina was 10 years old she was involved in a motor vehicle accident that left her with a fractured spine, among other injuries.  Her healing from that trauma is lifelong.  As someone who experiences daily pain and discomfort, sprinkled with PTSD, anxiety/depression, her teachings are focused on relieving, navigating, and experience suffering with loving kindness.  Nina offers simple, yet powerful instruction on ways to “ride the waves” of life skillfully and gracefully.

Nina lives in Wellfleet with her dog Quint. She spends as much of her time in nature as possible, especially surfing and hiking.  When indoors she enjoys music, and is a classically trained cellist and pianist.  Nina lifeguarded on the outer cape (Nauset Beach, Orleans and Wellfleet) for 10 years and swam competitively for Wheaton College, MA. Presently she works as a commercial shellfisherwoman and as an Emergency Medical Technician.
